Education for Ministry, often called EfM, provides people from all walks of life with the education “to be” Christians and to carry out their ministry.
EfM is rooted in the conviction that every baptized person has a ministry. The program helps participants read Scripture, study Christian tradition, reflect theologically, and connect faith with daily life.
Formation for lay ministry
EfM is not only about learning facts. It forms people to notice where God is at work and to respond with wisdom, courage, and compassion.
Who should consider it?
Adults who want deeper study, richer theological conversation, and a stronger connection between faith and vocation may find EfM especially meaningful.
