Christ Church was organized in Hudson in 1842, making the parish part of the long spiritual and civic history of this community.
For generations, Christ Church has gathered people for worship, prayer, music, sacraments, service, and care. Its buildings tell part of the story, but the deeper history is found in baptisms and burials, choirs and classrooms, altar flowers and outreach projects, Sunday Eucharists and ordinary acts of faithfulness.
A parish rooted in place
The church stands at 21 Aurora Street in the heart of Hudson. People arrive from Hudson and surrounding communities throughout Northeast Ohio, including Summit and Cuyahoga Counties. Its historic setting gives the parish a visible presence, but its mission continues to unfold through people.
